Aaron decided he really wanted to go to Grand Prairie Lights this year. I thought it sounded neat, so on the Monday before Christmas we loaded up to go check it out. Let's just say we didn't make it to any lights. The traffic was HORRIBLE!!! We ended up bailing out of line after 45 minutes of waiting and being no where near the entrance. Let's just say a 2 year old with a Leap Frog and marshmallows can only wait so long!!!
We decided we will try again next year on a weeknight the first week of December. Hopefully, traffic will be considerably less. We did wait until 3 days before Christmas.
Luckily not all was lost. It was Winter Solstice at Sonic, so we stopped for half price shakes. Not a bad way to end a bad experience!!!!
Hahahahah!! Gotta love the Sonic -- has saved a lot of disasters!!
